How to practice using NLP(tm) Anchoring in every

NLP(tm) Anchors are all around us.

The new commercial you are saying bad things
about to your friend, the way a lady across the
room plays with her hair,
or in song texts like “We all live in a yellow
…”, or the sound that your mail program makes
when you get a new email.

They are there all the time, for the simple
reason that they are the reason why our brain
works the way it does work.

The question is: How can you use “freefloating
anchors” as John LaValle calls them?

How can you practice the NLP(tm) technique of
Anchoring in everyday life?

Easily.

E.g.: You are having a conversation with a friend
via skype. You talk about this and that, suddenly
your friend bursts
into loughter about a think you said that you
didnt even intent to be funny.

There is anchor created right there, by the way
you said it, the way you spelled it, the way you
took breaks in between the phrases.

You can test it by trying to reuse it. Not to
often of course, as you might collaps it then,
but you can do so easily.

Try it out!

Stop Smoking Hypnotherapy - Can This Work?

If you’ve already tried a variety of the stop smoking aids, and you’ve tried quitting smoking without any help at all, you may think it’s just not meant to be. If you haven’t tried quit smoking hypnosis, you should take a minute to consider the possibility.

When the word “hypnosis” is mentioned, many people immediately conjure up images of the comedic hypnotists that make unsuspecting participants quack like a duck or perform some other ridiculous action. Hypnosis stop smoking programs are serious help for those with a serious desire to quit smoking cigarettes.

There’s no doubt that suggestion is a powerful tool. If you doubt that, just think about the amount of money spent on advertising. While it’s not hypnosis in the purest sense of the word, there’s no doubt that advertising works because we are open to suggestion. This is the first major step before turning to hypnosis as quit smoking help - you have to believe that hypnosis will work and open yourself to the power of suggestion.

Smoking cessation is undeniably difficult. One of the most common problems faced by those who seek out hypnotherapy seems to be the expectation that stop smoking help will be easy with hypnotherapy. The truth is that most who undergo hypnosis still report an occasional craving for a cigarette. There’s no doubt that stopping smoking isn’t easy, and there seems to be no stop smoking methods that work without the will power of the smoker. If you want to know how to stop smoking without ever facing any cravings for another cigarette, you’re looking for a magic cure - unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to exist.

That’s not to say that hypnosis doesn’t work - quite the contrary. And there are those people who report that they never again have the desire to pick up another cigarette. Just don’t enter into a hypnosis program expecting perfect results. This, like all quit smoking products and programs, should be counted as one part of the overall plan.

Quit smoking support is another important factor, and you may very well get the needed support as part of the hypnosis program. There could be a group that meets periodically, or the hypnotist may be available for additional consultations at no cost over a specific period of time.

Cost is another factor that keeps some people from seeking out hypnosis. You’ll find that this isn’t a free stop smoking program, but it may not be as expensive as you think. You’ll find plenty of advertisements in most areas for around $100.

Despite what some people think, stop smoking hypnosis isn’t a magic cure. Regardless of what stop smoking programs you try, you’re likely going to experience some withdrawal and there will be times that cigarette smoking is appealing. But if you’re ready for help to stop smoking, hypnosis may very well be just the answer you’ve been searching for.

There’s no doubt that smoking is detrimental to your health, and that there are incredible benefits to quitting. Isn’t it time you considered hypnotherapy?

Self Hypnosis Is A Great Tool For Accomplishing Your Goals

Self hypnosis is a great tool for goal setting and for getting help in carrying out and fulfilling your goals, whatever they may be. This type of hypnosis can easily be learned if you really want to use this excellent method as an aid for reaching your goals. Below is a short generic view of the self hypnotic process. Though lots of variations of this method have been used, these are the basic steps you have to go through in order to hypnotize yourself to accomplish whatever you want.

1 - Rank your goals from the most important goal to the less important. If possible, your goals should be measurable. Start with your most important goal. As soon as you can measure progress for this goal (like pounds lost, if your goal is weight loss, days of no smoking, if your goal is to stop smoking etc.) continuing with your second most important goal etc.

2 - For each goal, you should formulate appropriate suggestions which means you have to transform your goals into specific instructions to your subconscious mind on how to achieve each goal.

3 - Relaxation use the first minutes of your self hypnotic session to get as relaxed as possible

4 - Start your hypnotic induction phase by saying and repeating outloud the hypnotic words you have chosen, thinking of these words or listening to a hypnotic tape or CD custmized for your hypnotic and goal fulfillment needs. An example of an induction can be;

“I am totally relaxed. I close my eyes and now I m starting to drift downward. I can feel a warmth that is spreading from my feet and up my body. Every single part of my body is warm and totally relaxed.

5 - Apply the hypnotic suggestions you ve made for reaching the specific goal you work with, say them outloud, think them or use a tailored hypnotic tape or CD.

Before you start up your self hypnotic exercises you should make a time scedule for it. Do your hypnotic sessions every day, 5 minutes a day might be enough. Repeat your suggestions as often as possible during the day.

You must also measure your progress; am I closer to the goal now than I was last week? You should ask. This is the only way you can find out if this method really help you in achieving your goals.
