Quit Trying To Quit Smoking

When new clients come in to see me the first thing I want to know from them is if they are ready to quit trying to quit smoking. Most people that come into my office intend to use hypnosis to stop an unwanted habit such as smoking. They also have tried other methods before deciding on hypnosis. They have failed in the past and one of the reasons that I attribute to those failures is that they where trying . The truly successful individuals that leave my office as non-smokers are the ones that are finished trying to quit and have decided to become a non-smoker. After all, they where a non-smoker long before they became a smoker. We can not accomplish anything if all we are doing is trying.

To make this concept understandable you must first understand what the word try means. By definition the word try means the following:

1. Make an effort to do or accomplish (something); attempt: tried to ski.

2. To taste, sample, or otherwise test in order to determine strength, effect, worth, or desirability: Try this casserole. Try the door.

As you can see there is nothing about the word try that equals success. I do not want my clients to try, I want them to succeed. In order for this to occur they must have in their mind the right words for success. They must have in their minds the right commands to achieve their desired outcome. Once you get your mind hearing and understanding the words that truly reflect your desired outcome you can succeed.

Most clients after having a hypnotic session to become a non smoker will often say that if they knew it would be this easy they would have quit years ago. I will normally tell them that if they where truly ready to quit years ago it would have been that easy then also. One thing that is important to know about hypnosis is that it is not mind control. When you are in hypnosis you are in control and in a heightened state of awareness. You can not be made to do anything against your will or that you do not want to do. The effectiveness of a hypnotic session rides squarely on the shoulders of the individual being hypnotised. If the words I m going to try to quit , as apposed to, I m going to quit , are in their mind then the outcome will be a try, an attempt or effort, not a commitment to succeed. This is why I want all my clients to quit trying to quit smoking .and do it!

Overcoming Shyness

Overcoming shyness can’t be that hard. All you need to do is just go start talking to people. Ready? Here we go! Any second now. It’s coming. Just start talking and right now! Yeah. Okay, maybe it’s not so easy.

Unfortunately, overcoming shyness is rather difficult. You want to meet people, mingle at parties, ask out that certain someone. However, the closer you get to talking to someone, the harder it becomes until you are so nervous that your confidence fails you as you try to slip in a word. Then you walk away, feeling like you are some sort of failure. This feeling of inadequacy does not actually help you the next time, though. In fact, it just makes it more likely that you will freeze up the next time, since you have become used to shying away when you want to be speaking.

However, through hypnosis, you can rid yourself of these feelings of inadequacy, boost your self-confidence, and finally start overcoming shyness. By allowing your mind to help itself, you can find yourself a more confident person in any social setting. Instead of backing away at the chance to talk to someone, you can comfortably converse with them and, if you like, even start the conversation yourself! Wouldn’t that be a nice change?

Hypnosis can help you achieve your goal of overcoming shyness through its method of relaxation and suggestion. First, the subject is brought into a state of deep relaxation, not unlike meditation or deep sleep. However, where hypnosis differs from these two states is by leaving your subconscious mind open to suggestion. And it is with suggestion that the mind is allowed to remove the barriers that create fears, phobias, or shyness. Thus, by visiting a trained hypnotherapist or using self-hypnosis tapes, overcoming shyness is possible, and it can happen quicker that you had expected. You are simply allowing your mind to rid itself of something that it already wants to get rid of.

Hypnosis is a very useful tool for overcoming shyness. Through suggestion to an open mind, your anxieties in social situations can finally be a nothing but a memory. You don’t need to keep suffering every time you want to meet new people or try to get a date. By overcoming shyness through hypnosis, you will be confident and collected in every social situation and setting. And isn’t that something that we would all want?

7 Quick and EASY Steps On HOW You Can Use Self-Hypnosis To Cure Your Anxieties

Has any of this happened to you?

- Your boss ends your Monday with a stack of papers and instructions that you must submit this report in the next 48 hours or else…

- Your significant other doesn’t answer your calls when you need to get a hold of them the most

- Your mother sends you Guilt-Tripping messages that you don’t come and visit enough

- Your landlord Completely ignores you when you tell her that part of the ceiling is leaking in your apartment

- Your credit card bill is getting HUGE and is taking over in your dreams

At this point your probably starting to feel a throbbing pain in your temples like your head is about to explode.

EASY does it.

You certainly don’t want that to happen now do you?

Sit down and take a deep breath, close your eyes, relax and unravel your inner thoughts.

Sometimes, when taking control over a chaotic life, a stressful situation, a physical ailment or an emotional dilemma, it will usually start within you - your mind, and specifically, your “Subconscious”.

Communicating with your subconscious doesn’t have to be seen as being difficult.

Negotiating with your own self(Yes, I know it sounds kind of crazy, but hear me out) can be ‘achieved’ through a form of mind control called “Self-Hypnosis”.

Some of you reading this article right now may of heard of this practice and know How To do it, but for those of you who don’t here’s a sample of this basic procedure in 7 easy to follow steps.

Step #1. Find a venue conducive for relaxation.

Find a quite room, with a comfortable temperature and set the lights just right (not too dim, not too bright).

Then… light a candle and incense if you desire.

Step #2. Surround yourself with sound pleasant to your ears.

Play some relaxing music. Bring in a portable fountain. Hang some chimes where the breeze blows.

WHY?

Because the sound of music is soothing.

Step #3. Find a comfortable position.

Surround yourself with the things that make you feel the most comfortable. For example, your pillows, blankets, your favorite pair if joggers, whatever you like.

A caring, healing sensation always eases stress.

Step #4. Tell yourself this.

I am light, I am comfortable, I am at ease with myself.

All my tensions, worries and anxieties are gone.

I am light, I am comfortable, I am at ease with myself.

(Repeat many times while breathing deeply and with your eyes closed.)

Step #5. Picture what you want your life to be.

Visualize every detail, every situation that you want to happen.

Imagine it So… as if it is really happening at this moment.

Step #6. Repeat step #4.

Breathe in, breathe out. Now… imagine yourself being surrounded by a bright, luminous light starting from your forehead until it fills the whole room.

Step #7. Wake Up!

Simply wake up when you’re ready and feel refreshed.

Repeat this procedure regularly as needed.

This exercise simply helps you clear your thoughts.

It may also lead you to Self-Revelations that will help you assess the situation on How you want to live your dreams.

It may or may not work, your goal may or may not be achieved - the universe has reasons humans may not fathom.

The important thing here is this: “Self-Hypnosis” will help you become a better, calmer person that’s More attuned to themselves, and more willing to help others.

With ALL your tensions and worries away, who knows what you may accomplish in the coming Days, Weeks, Months and Years that lie ahead.
